Alkin Watches web store is open. I'd say £250 is a fair price for a very decent watch.

Due entirely to your validation I bought one, it may be for sale if I don’t like it when it gets here however.

Now I just need to message amey to find out how you monetize this influencer stuff.

Are there any similar watches that width / visual size with short wraparoundish lugs that fit on smaller wrists with no over hang?
-
• #33310
They are nice, but the my watch is wider than my wrist look is not a good one.
-
• #33311
Have you tried it on? That's a pretty misleading photo...
-
• #33313
No but its says L-to-L = 50mm which is +2mm on my skx013.
I can't readily remember what the L-to-L of your SNZG is, but as it sits higher due to the leather NATO it is less of an issue.

@hugo7 circumference of my wrist at the point I wear a watch is about 18cm, which I think is relatively small. I have the alkin and thought it was too big at first, but then my perception changed. It is definitely easier without the bulky leather strap it comes with if you have small wrists.

I think my opinions are heavily biased by the average dimensions of my watch collection.

Where to get an oyster bracket to fit various watches.. I would like a 22mm oyster to use on some of my watches.. I have a SKX007 and also a Corgeut blue bay.. but the pin locations are different on each watch.. any ideas where to get a strap to do both watches?

Strap Co bracelets can be got direct from their site, or Island Watches.

The main issue you will have is the end links not matching up with the case. If they’re both 22mm lug width you maaaay be able to find a strap that fits both if there are end links available for each watch.
Strapcode are a good place for Seiko-compatible oyster type bracelets.

Yeah I know it's going to be an issue.. I have a steinhart ocean one on 22mm oyster, but it doesn't fit anything else..

Will have a look

You could try something like the Geckota bracelets that just have straight end links, but they can look a bit funny.
