The Prius came out in 97. Tesla started in 2003. I guess Elon is so good for you that it warps the space time continuum.

He’s not first, but he’s making a more desirable car. The Prius is practical at best, but it has zero of the cool the Tesla’s have. Of course Toyota didn’t set out to do a ‘cool’ car, but if you compare the impact Tesla has had compared to the Prius, I think Tesla wins?
