It is literally the most stupid standard. I can’t see why alpkit have apparently invented their own boost spacing, and are only people to do QR boost. Forks are going back.
Anyone suggest a rigid boost fork (ideally taper) that doesn’t cost the earth? Identiti at £135 is cheapest non Chinese carbon I can see but no mounts -

Yes. Nobody is making hubs for it. Because it's stupid.

Marin use QR-boost too.
-
• #13383
Take Boost hubs, fit QR endcaps, job done.
-
• #13384
the problem I’ve got then is finding QR end caps for roval wheels! Not sure who makes the hubs or what type of wheels they are
-
• #13385
There are other shit bikes that use QR boost - you can find them on forums where people are like I bought this Boost wheelset and it doesn’t work with my boost frame what the fuck.
Then they find Nobody makes the caps. Plenty of Boost hubs aren’t even designed to have the caps replaced. Because they are boost. Not shit, pointless qr boost.
Everyone thinks it’s teh stupids

@russmeyer used a thru › QR adapter with normal Boost wheels.

Something like this although that's 20×110mm

As @frankenbike says I managed to find a thru axle adapter thingy that's given me no trouble at all but this was for a rear hub that had the correct OLN already, just needed the QR bit to poke through the dropout. No idea if the same thing exists for front 110mm hubs.

I think I’ll just return the forks on Monday to be honest! Shame cos they look cool, suit the frame and have all the mounts

Looks like the ability to do sick tailwhips might be genetic

Every time I start to think "Oh, I could probably ride this bit", they decide to do a roll-in or something. Just. No.

Anyone know of any singletrack trails in the north of England you can access by train? I've not got a car, and all the nice trails in the Peak District seem to be a fair cycle from a train station.

Get a train to Edale (Mam Tor, Jacob's Ladder etc.) or Bamford (Win Hill, Ladybower). They're on the Sheffield to Manchester line, one train an hour I think. Alternatively, get the train to Sheffield, and ride straight out from there (Lady Cannings, Blacka Moor, Rivelin Valley, Greno, Wharncliffe).

I started watching the full race the other night, saw Wynn Masters having difficulty with turns on the concrete. Did you watch it all?
Boo!
