Watched sex education on Netflix the other day, really enjoyed it despite the weird mid Atlantic vibe going on.

took a break before final episode of kingdom and moved onto russian doll, basically a darker groundhog day story with a mental health slant. couple of episodes in I was about to turn off and go to bed as it was already late but they caught me with a cliffhanger and another and another until I ended up watching all 8 eps and getting to bed about 4am. was very enjoyable though.

Plebs - After a couple of recommendations on here quite a while ago I finally watched a few episodes. Think Inbetweeners set in ancient Rome with a ska soundtrack. Good fun so far, the Danny Dyer episode was excellent.

"Struggle: The Life and Lost Art of Szukalski" on Netflix is worth an hour

"Wayne" I'm two episodes in and already hooked. Very good so far. It's youtube special so dunno how can be watched apart from purchasing it in discount places

Mayans MC spin-off from Sons of Anarchy so a guilty pleasure, enhanced by the absence of Charlie Hunan.
There seems to be a lack of Latino actors, so many in this have been in other series, Trump needs to keep the border open to allow more talent in.

From the amount of stuff he's in (and the wildly varying quality) I think Danny Trejo scares everyone else away and takes all the jobs for himself.

The BBC4 series On Drums, Guitar and Bass are great (I haven't seen guitar yet).
Stuart Copeland does the history of drums in modern music, Tina Weymouth bass, with a huge number of various prominent drummers and bassists, and stories about how much drum and basslines contribute to the sounds.
Watched all this over the weekend. Overall pretty good. I enjoyed Copeland's passion, but his episode didn't interest me as much as Tina's - She's was great. Lenny Kaye (guitar) was just awful-creeepy.

And worth a re-watch.
Clever entertaining stuff that sticks with you -

It was very watchable, I'm sad I smashed it in one go pretty much.

Yeah we just finished this last night. Really enjoyed it. It managed to avoid a lot of the tropes that often get wheeled out when shows do a ‘groundhog day’.

Another plus one to Russian Doll, watched it in two evenings...

Lenny Kaye himself was a bit odd but i did love the guitar programme, and the idea that we have come full circle from Les Paul to Ed Sheeran in terms of using looping and playback.
The mental image of the smugness of Peter Frampton with his little talkbox still hasn't left me though.

Trying Russian Doll based on the recommendations on here. Its OK. But "cock-er-roach"?! Wtf is that about?

Off sick so rewatching The Sopranos, still bloody good

Perfect ending, too! Wish more series ended like that

This. Three episodes in and i really like all of it apart from that. Nails on chalkboard.

Invertebrates don’t appear much in the dialogue after that, luckily!
Halfway through newly added Kingdom on Netflix, an entertaining medieval south korean spin on a zombie outbreak, presented more like a 6-episode film than a tv series where they bury all the good stuff in overwrought dialogue.
this has plenty of action, a handful of martial arts movie tropes and just enough talking to tell the story line and a ton of ridiculous hats (seriously it's like a South Korean Ascot).
