With autofocus the general principle is get a smaller lens if you want it to focus quickly. Fuji has great low-light capability if you are worried about one stop. Plus it will be lighter.

A friend of mine has the 35mm 1.4. I didn't use it long enough to say something about the quality but the auto focus was horrible in low light. Takes ages to focus and when it focuses, it's off focus. You'd be faster and better off focussing manually.
I'm also looking for a fast 35mm X-mount but there don't seem to be good alternatives. I wonder how the Samyang 1.2 performs.
okay so a quick question.
I'm looking at the fuji lenses and can't decide between the 1.4 or 2 35mm. Will the extra stop really make that much difference? I love low light and trying to convince myself the couple hundred quid, plus losing the weather sealing is worth it.
