Always good to see London League regulars winning on the biggest stage. My daughters were very excited watching that, especially when I told them I’ve raced with Ben in the past.

The Beautiful Losers film is well worth a fiver on Vimeo. As someone else has said, Svein Tuft deserves a film all to himself.

Not sure if it might work out but I contacted Rapha and asked if they would be interested in screening this movie in one of their London locations.
To me too – Tuft is the highlight of the film. Wise and true to him self and others

Don't you like skating? Are a skatist?
-
• #20115
Skating only brings up traumatic memories of trying too hard and falling far far too short. Thanks for link.

After all that effort to find new sponsors, he seems very keen to use social media to really, really fuck them off. Seems an odd tactic. Unless he's just a massive cunt and can't help himself.

Probably the latter. Lives in an echo chamber of dinosaurs, employees and sycophants so assumes he’s on a righteous crusade. I bet his two main sponsors are banging their faces into their desks today wondering why they even bother
Maybe it’s just a tactic to get early retirement

The UCI have announced a multi-disciplinary World Champs from 2023, with the inaugural event being held in Glasgow.
It will cover Road, Track, Mtb, para-cycling etc.
The best part of the whole thing is that the Worlds will move back to their rightful place in August.

I took this serious until I saw gran fondo.

Omnium or road, Mr Viviani? This won't be easy or popular for the trackies. Does it include cross? If yes, same problems apply.
-
• #20124
I don’t think even Scotland could provide the right conditions to hold the Cross Worlds in August...

Plenty of places with sand dunes in Scotland, though maybe not close enough to Glasgow though...
not a pro >>>>>
;-) just kidding, superb ride after a challenging season, and matching MVDP with a back-to-back juniors rainbow jersey
