It's not just about weight...

My Garmin did refuse to work on the line though, so I left that at the bottom.

Hmmm. 500 - 600w for 3 minutes.
I don't think I would win this event.
-
• #579
That's the easy part. It's doing it while weighing 60kg I find tricky.
-
• #580
I think the consensus was that about 9.6 w/kg won it (not including bike weight).
I managed about 7.2.

I think Shane Sutton would tell you to lose some timber.
-
• #582
Yes, that's the hard part - could have been 7.8 easily.

I think Shane Sutton would tell you to lose some timber.
Then slap you on the arse

Enjoy life. It's better.

"You've got wood!"
"I know, it's your accept Shane-o-baby"

How do you like the track socks? Thinking of getting some and tempted by custom.
And how tall are you?
-
• #587
I like them - 6ft 1 and mostly leg.

Dug this out of the loft today
Probably no changes this year, I'm 3kg heavier than usual so it'll need concerted effort to get close to anything like 'race weight'. Still not sure how many HC's i'll do this year, probably Cat and Bec just for the atmosphere and maybe a couple more local ones.

Urban Hill Climb?

• #590
Anymore info on this?
-
• #591
For an events company, they're terrible at PR. All I know so far is the date: 30th of September.
-
• #592
I emailed the company asking for further information on the event and they replied -
It has not been launched yet. Expect to see some promotion very soon.

So, 2020 National Hillclimb is Streatley Hill in London West. 18 months to lose 15 kg and git gud.
-
• #594
London West, eh? Looks like my year to win another hillclimb...
-
• #597
18 months to lose 15 kg
10kg from you and 5kg from the bike, right?
-
• #598
A 500g bike would be impressive
-
• #599
@umop3pisdn to lose 18kg so his bike can gain 3kg and become practical once again

What does London West mean? Not West London that's for sure. It's west of Reading.
surely shorter socks would be lighter?
