No specific requirements at all. The 30mm was "free" because I had a gift card - just want something properly tubeless and wider than my current 19mms. Max tyre in my current frame is probably 2.35" so 25mm rear will be fine I think.
Thanks all

No law that says you must have the same width rims (or tyres).
I guess which way round to set them up (and thus where you'll get more tyre volume/potentially a stronger rim) will vary depending on your bike/preferences. -

So Cannondale abandons the lefty and finally adopts a modern suspension only to let some girl-jean wearing twerps put the wrong size wheels, BMX saddle, and other stuff that detracts from the actual function of the bike. AND PEOPLE EMBRACE IT. Marketing.

Can anyone recommend some winter boots? Looking at something like Shimano MW5 or similar, but cheaper... I've got not money, but my current bontrager ones have lots and lots of holes in.
Or maybe does anyone have any size 44/45 they'd like to sell? -

Gonna try the jumbo slicks on the mushy partially compressed icy nonsense a little later. Walking home last night my boots slipped on anything that wasn’t fresh and fluffy, so I don’t think it’s worth the time to swap back to the Barzo tyres for one or two days. Probably the knobbles would make a big help but hopefully it’s not the end of the world riding jumbos without.
This plays right into my hand of why I need two (or three) wheelsets.

I stacked it twice, both as 0mph and both cos I had no choice. Once on the path cos a pedestrian was in the way, slowed and tried going wide around them, when I corrected my line the ice hit my back wheel. Again a few minutes later in the side streets off a main road, because the road was pure sheets of ice from cars and no grit. Otherwise it was great fun, cars gave way to me cos I was riding faster, and on the paths it was really bumpy but pretty good going. Only the hills were really tough since it was single speed and had no gears. So roads and footpaths were way less fun than the bumpy bumpy offroad paths. Fresh snow was too deep for my GI.
11/10 would stack it again

What's the bit of tubing for between the rear wheel and the seat tube?
Who wants this on the next Badgers ride?
