  • For sure and I wouldn’t go with a company like that either. It’s basically an apparel item made from a synthetic performance fabric. However most suppliers also provide at least one wool or merino product. I’d be fine with it personally because as you say, it’s good to promote the vegan alternatives since even non vegan companies will in turn produce more of the good stuff and less of the bad if the market goes that way.

  • I saw a documentary on veganism on german telly a while back, they interviewed a lot of people, amongst them an englishman that had a business selling shoes - he just started with a whole line of vegan shoes, looked into the camera and said frankly he didn't care about the animals at all, yet if people wanted to buy those things he'd be happy to sell them.

    It's like the animals don't really care why / how you choose vegan options,
    plus the old concept of voting with your wallet.

    tl;dr - just buy the vegan stuff
