Does anyone have a list of what all the differences are between the versions of the pompinos?

Whoever that person is, they sound like they would be the coolest dude in the world

Hi there, this was done in French a while ago, google translate may help:
Do not hesitate to click on the web links - which refer to the web archive of the On One site, in English e.g.

Rule of thumb:
V1-3 = relaxed geo, industrial looking wishbone seatstay junction (awesome).
V4 = more roadie geo, separate curvy seatstays. -

Started riding my Pompino again after about a year of not. Forgot how fun they are. I donβt think Iβll ever sell it.

Had these for about 3 years. They both ride quite differently despite similar cx type setup and although I love them both I'm currently favouring the Pompetamine for winter duties.

Hi all,
Can anybody recommend a decent priced (front) wheel that is a bit wider to fit a 32c tyre (Bontrager R3 Hard Case Lite)?

Anyone succeeded in getting 37c slick tyres into a v4 pomp (without mudguards)?
35 CXs are just about ok, think it'll be really tight.

Heads up to you pomp lovers. Will be breaking this up to sell next week and sticking it in the classifieds. Large frame & kinesis (?) cromoly fork with orbit headset. Was armourtexed just before I bought it off someone on here. Love it but have been seduced by a cotic frame that will fit me better. Prob will be looking for Β£125. Will post pics & stuff when I'm back. Live in sarf London.

Selfish question in response to your question: Which wheels will you be using?

Planning to get Continental Sport Contact 2.. not slick but no knobbles. Not sure it'll fit at the rear brake bridge though, might need to put an extra link in the chain.

Good tyres!

On one pompino V4
DtSwiss R522 DB (18mm inner width)
Conti Speed contact 37mm (about 36mm large on those wheels)It's more than ok at the bridge. And down the chainstay it's ok too, there's like >3mm on each side.
The rear wheel axle is at the middle of the drop out.I think I'll try to put some mudguards at some point.

Eh .. I have to ride them more .. but can't agree ATM
Clearly, I'll not pay full price for this
But they are not the worst ! -
• #7594
Why have you found that?
I've got the 42c version (not on a pomp)
They roll fast, I've had no punctures in a year on them.
Plenty grippy on tarmac and gravel
Super comfy at low PSI -

If anyone has a super beater level medium pomp, let me know. Just need the frame. Looking to build back spare bike to leave at my parents' house.

Going down the stupid well practiced route of 'I love this bike, everything about it perfect... therefore I'm going to 'improve it' by upgrading/changing the wheels, tyres, cranks, chainring, sprocket.'

On here?

Where did you find this, and when is it released?

They have sold out at pre-sale, first release being March. No more new stock now till June. Itβs all on their site.
If not fixed gear then would need rear brake, and as I've a raw frame it'd be rude not to go double disc as I already have front disc set up
