Alkin is @Stonehedge approved which is why I’m all shut up and take my money.

Secretly @Stonehedge is their major shareholder.
Just for the sake of it, I'm gonna dredge up why we were talking about Alkin at all.
At a time where most big brands are using celebrity to paint pictures of grandeur to sell their products and while smaller and newer brands are doing what they can to sell mostly uninspiring watches under an umbrella of false heritage, I really enjoy supporting projects such as Alkin.
Slightly quirky watches with good build quality and no pretensions whatsoever are something that we need more of in horology. Don't build fake heritage, earn it. Your watches will sell if you genuinely try to do that.
I'm not saying I'm becoming a watch collecting anarchist. I'm just getting really sick of all this #dare2be #eleganceisanattitude #watchesformen froth with hundreds of insta posts of glamorous men and women and contrived photos of benches of watch tools.
