Any other takers? @Yakut?

The guy who does the majority of the coaching is very, very good, I hear. Lots of people have told me how much he's helped their riding. Amazing rider too.

Reassuring! I'm not too shabby at drops (unlike jumps) but I definitely need scale up the size I'm willing to huck, and my confidence generally, if I'm going to tackle ever steeper and scarier stuff

Thanks but I'm away on those dates. Maybe next time

Managed to get a bargain Bontrager Racelight inline seatpost that allows me a more horizontal saddle position. Waiting on a gnarly set of rigid jump forks from @BareNecessities and then street mode will be fully activated on the Acid.
Weird creak/click when pedalling though, and only since fitting a totally new Shimano UN-55. Much annoyance. Will need to strip, lube, and check all the parts.

I left my fox float 32 forks in a draw and they've leaked everywhere. New seals and fluid? or do I go for a whole service?
-

Street mode on acid could get lairy.

Jel? I can share.

If it was mine I'd just go for a full service. I think i paid 60 quid for a full service on a fox float 32 just over 2 years ago.

The Mario the Destroyer previously of SoHo Bikes is apparently still servicing all the suspensions at that bike cafe place for techno-hipster snobs.
EDIT: so, you know, go see him. He knows what he's doing and it's better to see a problem in the flesh.

As my Unit only has room for one bottlecage I am strongly considering getting a backpack with a bladder. How much of a transgression of decency will it be to combine a backpack with lycra?
-
• #13222
You mtb in Lycra?
-
• #13223
Maybe...

I did an XC enduro in lycra with a camelback.
Lycra is the one for mtb

You were singlespeed though. People expect weirdness
Yeah, should be around. Let me know which day you wanna ride the natural trails.
