Plenty of good drinking holes in Aberdeen from the hipster craft beer places, to the old mannie pubs.

The old railway line is a nice ride out to Ellon but can be rough. There is also very quiet B road which takes you directly there too. Park and Ride bus takes you right to near the brewery too.
For food Cafe 52 on The Green is nice independent place.
