Is there a good place to buy picture frames online? I'm just after a couple of simple black wooden frames, one with an odd sized mount.

There's plenty of quick links but am looking for a reusable spring link like this one from Wippermann (which doesn't seem to be stocked anywhere).

I noticed the holes in the KMC quick link I use for training have stretched out a bit, probably from too much re-use.

I switch out gears and chains regularly and I would like something more reusable and secure for use on the track.

Wippermann 7R8s are an expensive solution when my existing KMC chains are still good...

I used these guys back in '13. I had a very specific wishlist, and it was for a picture I liked so I wanted to do it properly. At the time Mrs H was baffled that I spent so much on a bespoke frame. 6yrs on I'm still pleased. Basically idk ft it's economical for what you're after, but I thought they were good.

Otherwise it can be tough (Mrs H spent ages finding inexpensive black ones for us). Amazon has some decent cheap ones, in the end we made our own mount and got the frames from wilcos.

Wood will tend to scale up as the frame increases in size. So if you want a thin bezel on a larger picture you need to change material. For that reason we switched from wood to plastic, as we didn't want the outlay of alu.

Haha, aren't most racks rated for like 10-15kg?

Yeah thats what ive seen, but witnessed someone getting a lift on an old raleigh rack on an old raleigh 3 speed and it seemed safe..

All the Dutch do it (with an impressive running mounting technique) - I don't know if they have heavier duty racks

I used my Tubus Logo Evo to do that, I'm always more concerned about my rear wheel tbh

I'd like to search through our drive space at work and return all the files names and paths and date created and modified and spit them out into CSV.

Alternatively, if there's a better quicker easier way to do this please point me in the right direction. It's proving difficult because of file name length (when I try using CMD).

Do you want basics or more complex? Stackoverflow has a tonne of stuff but it can be a bit over your head if you are missing basics.

Would recommend frames.co.uk as you can see the prices up front, standard sizes will stand out as being cheaper obvs.

Check the sizes exactly though. Measure once, buy twice and all that. (I've got a wrong size custom frame at home as I wrote down the wrong numbers when measuring the pic I wanted to frame.)

IIRC the EU standard won't let you certify (OTP?) racks to more than 25 kg, but I'd have no problem giving backies on my Dutch bike - I reckon the rear wheel is going to start breaking spokes before the rack gives way.

100x70cm is a standard (ish) size - I think it might have been used for film posters? - so depending on how much the frame overlaps the picture area you might be able to use one of those.
