  • They're 'somewhat' compatible. Different years of Shimano RDs have different size wheels and you need to make sure you get the top and bottom wheels right and the rotation direction right.
    £34 for jockeys seems ridic (and I bought CeramicSpeed for the TT bike). I think I paid less than a tenner for Shimano jockey wheels. No idea about NW though. Don't use that shit.

  • I rode to work with the current setup this morning & it kind of worked. Not sure if it's the indexing which is off or it's the fault of the different jockey wheel. I'll keep at it & see.

    Yeah, it's ridiculously expensive. Think I'll keep my eye out for knackered derailleurs on eBay (surely with it being a CX-aimed derailleur these should come up all the time?) to see if I can nab some spares for cheaper.
