Amazing news. Congratulations!
I have bags of unsolicited advice should you ever need some. -

I reckon H+daughter will be more of the matching apron kind of people.

That might come handy. But for now we are just awaiting the arrival of our spawn.

Yes to this. My wife has one as well

I bought a second hand Swift rando bag. Clashes a bit with the paint job I had imagined...

I'll come visit thi. Soooo many good friends in London now. -
• #1735
Yeah I'd disagree too, think it looks great in that picture.

Thanks guys. It is hard to really anticipate the colour matching. Hopefully it will look alright.
It is this bag I believe:

Maybe this is too much. Forks will be and additional £100ish so I might just keep them black.
I reckon I can stem and pump painted with the frame without additional costs...
But do I want to?

I think this looks great

you might as well spend the £ now and get exactly what you want - when the kid comes along they'll only spend it for you!

We are already in save mode. And I have that MTB on the way. Which might actually make the decision for me...

My vote goes for painted pump, black stem.
-
• #1742
I might get a stem painted if it doesn't cost me extra. I have a 3T Arx I never use. That way I can try both IRL

Might as well if you're into that aesthetic! I'm just personally not keen on it. Although it could work better than most seeing as it's quite an understated colour.

I like colour matched stems. Something else that makes it stand out from an off the peg frame
-
• #1745
I know what you mean about the stems.
It can look naff. -
• #1746
It's a standard RAL colour, you can always get them done later
-
• #1747
Mmmm carbon forks are sprayed tho and will have to be matched to the RAL. I just imagine it being easier to do when done at the same time.
Either way I think the black forks might work well. -

@Hulsroy anti bregsit saddle to go with your EU seatpost?
-
• #1749
That’s awesome

Yes I like that. It is on the watch list :)
Now you've got the hang of it I'm sure you'll keep em coming 😉
