I prefer the 2nd one because it has fewer roman numerals but there are two things that I don't like...
The way the 5-minute marker numbers flip orientation at 4 & 8 and the fact that the minute and second hands don't align to any dial markers - they sit halfway between.
Dual wheel date window is lovely though.
