  • They're only 225's...

  • That's a stunner. Love the colour...

Assuming estimate is conservative, right? Would think that would go for a fair bit more.

  • they are always conservative, but that is top dollar for probably the best car out there. if it was a Tii it would prob be shitloads more

  • Has anyone watched the 2 part MCM special, turbo and temples 2 yet?

Just finished watching the second part, I now really want to go back to Japan and buy something turbo charged

  • Watched the first part...

  • No longer have an electric tyre pump, so just wanted to get the hives thoughts on a budget one?

    Cheers.

  • Just think about how expensive one of these would be...

  • Just use your track pump?

  • Innit, think I'll have to get rid of the scoob and all. Finally gets childhood dream car...

I'll just replace it with a mk2 escort and do protest skids every chance I get...

  • Isn't it quite hard to buy a car and drive it around before export if you don't have an address there?

It's something I'd bloody love to do, would have to be an ae86 or rx7 for me.

  • Took the sad dad car up a mountain today, can't say it was a rally car experience but it was really fun going up very steep gradients and twisty turns in a car as opposed to a bike... Much easier on the knees too...

Car has been holding up well, going in for a service tomorrow so I can get the brake pads changed and see what else needs looking at... I don't think we'll have this car for long, we were talking about our next car on the drive and the enemy has already vetoed a Forester (old lady car) in favour of a ute...

Who am I to argue? 😉

  • I’m not entirely sure, maybe they used import monster as an address before it goes back there to get shipped to Oz?

AE86 would definitely be my only N/A choice, I’d want an R34 GTR or something turbo I think

  • Just use your track pump?

It's a Silca and the chuck makes it a massive hassle to use.

Just thought an electric one where you can set the desired pressure would be easier.

  • the new (ish) audi TT 2.0 coupe:

    cuntmobile or flangemagnet?

    it's a ULEZ stasi pass!

  • I think the very first 225 bhp ones are getting to modern classic status now, but would doubtless fail ULEZ. The current ones don’t really do anything for me- I’d rather have the Golf they are based on, or if I wanted a small two seat coupe I would look at a 987 Boxster (or Cayman if you wanted a roof).

  • Audi Quattro or LadyDiMobile... That's it, Shirley?

  • like so.

Auto, so Mrs Hell can flex some style as well.

I feel you re the boxster, but it would always not be a 911. so i'm out.

  • Y U no blik?

I think it's a bit of a tryhard car but maybe that's just me... Just look at that rear end...

  • you're not wrong, and yeah - blik would be first choice.

  • Unless it's an Audi with a boot and a big engine, it's a no from me.

  • the boot in the TT coupe looks pretty roomy - those 'back seats' are a complete afterthought tho.

that clarkson tit raves about them. which is problematic.

  • I've only had electric ones with shit mechanical gauges and take an age to inflate, I'm sure you can get better ones, but I've always found my track pump to be good enough.

This one looks like it has all the functions
