Is there anything besides an additional cable hole that differs the mechanical Ultimate from the electric?
ie if I get di2 it’s simple to setup?? -

Haha no sure why I’d need that!?
I guess I’m thinking where does the battery go..? -
• #2157
There is a mount on the underneath of the downtube for the battery holder. This isnt on the mechanical frame. You would need to use a drill to bodge holes for wire and use a older style shimano pencil battery that can go on the seattube / post. I would not recommend trying to convert it as taking a drill to a carbon frame would void the warranty.

Glad to hear!

Older? That's the current style, the outboard frame batteries were discontinued with 10 speed di2. No?

My new Canyon Endurace:
≈34 mm tyres fit fine: there is >3 mm clearance to chainstays and >4 mm clearance to fork.

Anyone had a chance to ride the new Canyon mountain bikes? I've been riding a Torque, Strive and Sender a bit over the last few weeks and all three have had hideous problems with their rear linkages. Ride fucking amazing though.

Here mine after completing festive500, pretty much a broken bike now and a display on top of my drawers. Unfortunately the isn't a new Canyon that I'm madly in love with that makes me want to upgrade this bike atm, though the idea of disc brakes is very appealing especially with the current braking issues i have on this bike atm.
The plan for this bike is get restore/upgrade it slowly so it would be ready for the spring/summer season of 2019, which are the following:
- New rims (most likely from LBR)
- New tyres (both has cuts in them which the inner tubes are poking through) most likely going to be tubeless or put sealant in the tubes to prevent so many punctures.
- Inline seatpost and carbon bars (from pro vibe) to be it matchymatchy
- And fresh new tape, chain, cassette and most likely chainrings to keep on old gal running smoothly for the new couple of years.

Nice way to store the bikes :-)

What's wrong with it? Looks like a great build.

Nothing wrong with the frame, just needs to overhaul the list above, not bad tbh after 5 years of riding.

There's no way you've owned the same bike for 5 years.

You still looking for wheels? Johnny is shutting up shop but offering 30% off wheel builds to clear stock until end of Feb. Might make the price more attractive!

Ah thanks, I picked up the Hunt Carbon gravel 30mm. Still debating if I’ll get a Dynamo on the front, but that’s probably not something he’d stock

Yeah think he's mainly got DT Swiss 350 and 240 hubs and then carbon tubeless rims 36mm, 46 and 56mm to suit.
£850 for a 350 build and then £955 for a 240 one I believe
A few tweaks, rarely sees the light of day.
Following this, I've now got a 130mm +/-8 degree stem for sale if anyone's interested?
