The club doesn’t cover itself in glory in that article.
Feels like they want all the benefits of being a community asset without paying for the upkeep.
Not sure that it’s any worse than how arsenal put the screws to Highbury and Islington, except that Newham is a markedly poorer borough.
PR team will have to leap into action to remedy the negative press, unless they believe all will be forgiven once the stadium is up and running..

Fuck me this is an open game.
Everton confident they can play with us. And we’re looking potent on the break. Had a couple of good chances already.. -

Good goal for Everton,
Trippier weak in defence, and Walcott of all people with the toe poked finish.
Straight back at them though..More goals in this game..

Pickford absolutely went through on Ali just before half time. Red card tackle anywhere on the pitch. I am not an Ali fan, but it was obvious he was hurt and instantly furious but he managed to not react. If the foul had been committed by someone who was not in the England team, I am sure there would have been a much spicier reaction.

I thought it was more a case of goalies being a bit more protected by referees than nationality, but yeah, lucky to escape punishment.

Dele had been flagged for offside so the tackle wasn’t really a tackle if that makes sense.
Certain amount of frustration on Pickford’s part.
Both of them being in the England squad definitely helped the situation. Think Dele would have blown up on any other keeper..
Hoping the hamstring aggravation isn’t too serious. We need him, as he’s starting to round into great form.. -

so the tackle wasn’t really a tackle if that made sense.
Which should make Pickford's actions worse if anything, the ref had already blown for the offside, hadn't he?
Anyway, hopefully it's a non-life-threatening but chronic hamstring injury, that'll keep him out for the rest of the season, with Spurs fading away into mid-table obscurity. ;-) -

Can you receive a red card for a foul after the whistle has gone for a different incident?
-
• #148115
Yes. A fair few players over the years have even been sent off after the final whistle.

• #148117
Nah. Great opportunity to deck someone.

3-0 up against Bournemouth, goals being shared around.
Sorting out our inferior goal difference over the holiday season.
And looks like we’ve hit a good patch of form at a good time.. -

Spurs mate says Man City fans have been talking about how they need to buy in January. Apart from silva, mendy and Fernandinho, who else would they need cover for?
Also on a spurs front delighted that we’ve now put ourselves properly into the the title conversation, whilst still being underrated/overlooked.
Still lots of games to go and moura/Lamela will have to step up when son disappears in January to the Asian cup, to fill the goal scoring gap.Hoping the team have learnt from previous title disappointments and know that we still need to beat wolves in a couple of days time, to make the most of city’s slip and that every game from now on can’t be taken for granted..
All of this...
