As an aside (while I wait for Christmas and NY to pass and for the frame to be finished) this bike was always meant to satisfy two itches; one a gravel fixed gear and two, a HHSB that I could skid around town on and pretend to be cool.
Unfortunately, my desire to own something with a quill stem and super tight clearances has not been satisfied, so I've picked up the following...
Not really sure how I'm going to build it yet; thinking either go classic with NJS parts or go a bit ratty and chuck a mis-match of things at it like a modern wheelset, carbon risers, ti stem etc. I quite like the rattiness of the frame and think that either ratty or class would work but open to suggestions.
