is Hermes really that much cheaper compared to RM or DPD for compaines?
Have you ever chosen an online supplier based on 5p or less price difference? Everybody who has ever done that is to blame for suppliers nickel & diming the choice of carrier.

Depends if they're sending out over £250,000 worth of shipping then they'll have to tender it, which is how such terrible contractors are acquired as cost generally outweighs service.
