Help me to understand; why would you not give them back? There must be a point where you think "this is in the way/no longer being used, I'm going to put it away with my own things" knowing full well that you would never return it?

People who put empty wrappers back in boxes of Quality Street and raise my hopes. Especially when the bin is around 15cm away from the box.

People who don't like the strawberry/orange fondant ones, idiots
-
• #10782
Why do you hate them? Surely it just means more strawberry/orange fondant ones for you?

As a child I hated people who didn’t like the green opal fruits. They’re the best ones, the pricks!

Collect a small bundle of wrappers up, form them into a chocolate shape, wrap it up neatly and put it back it. It's highly convincing and everyone will hate you.

I prefer doing this with after 8 mints. Watching people hunting through empty sachets looking for the few remaining mint fondant chocolates is one of the joys of Christmas.

People in this country who use the term 'perps' like they're in an episode of NYPD Blue.
-

Maybe they’re just saying ‘perhaps’ with really bad enunciation?

Does anybody else hate the American pronunciation of Craig?
Or is "cregg" the correct way to say it?

The UK media starting to use 'per' instead of 'as per' or simply, 'according to'

Really? I would have had the yanks down for saying "Gray-ham". The things you learn.

That pales insignificance in the face of pronouncing ‘niche’ as ‘nitch’, though. Unforgivable.

But Nitch was such a deep philosophizer......
