I have the epic react and zoom flys - I much prefer the epic react but they will need replacing in the new year. Tempted to try out the Pegasus 35.

Haven’t tried them myself but a couple of clubmates rate them...

I would recommend Altras too! I have a pair of Escalantes for the road and the Superior 3.0 for trail. They are all zero drop. I came off a pair of Brooks Connect which had a 4mm drop so the Altras took a little getting used to but only a few runs really. If I go back to wearing a 'standard' pair with a 8-12mm drop, they feel weird! Hope this helps

Love my Peg 35s, big fan.
I had 32s and 33s and I'd say they're a tad firmer but they feel fast.

Would anyone be interested in a Forerunner 235? It's in good nick, couple of very small scuffs on the edge but it's had a screen protector on it the whole time. Think it's about a year old now, never had a problem.
Planning to get myself a Fenix 5 and torn between keeping the 235 as a spare or moving it on. -

Unless you particularly like the size and heft of the Fenix then take a look at the Forerunner 935 too. Same watch but weighs half as much and smaller. I bought both when I was looking and sent the Fenix back

Aaaaaaand I've buggered my knee. A rep session on the steps in the forest paired with trying an awkward boulder problem too many times has definitely done something. Felt fine when climbing (ok, a little bit tender when climbing), then was pretty sore in bed and this morning.
Race on Sunday looking doubtful :(
Engage full festive feast mode.

Saw the foot chap again today for a mobilisation session. We chatted, he massaged/pulled/pushed my foot, all was seemingly going well.
He then said that the reason he couldn't achieve more mobility was because the bones of my heel were actually connected together - calcaneonavicular bar was the term he used.
This is why the marathon caused pain, in his view - my right foot doesn't flex, so every time I land on my forefoot that's absorbing all the impact, rather than the foot flexing and assisting in the process.
I'm unsure how to feel about this.

Dude, did you just carry on up to Hastoe at the turn?! Edit: just seen you got 1st anyway 👍
There’s a double Parkrun New Years Day too, Tring @ 9am then Wendover Woods @ 10.30am.

They let me off this time!
I stand corrected. With a slightly larger carbon footprint.
