  • It's really hard to price tbh, especially with the one off lens mount I had made. Also got the 90mm F5.6 Fujinon lens that I might punt too. Big tripod. Bag. Loupe. Fancy dark cloth.

I really don't want to sell it but it's just not getting as much use as it deserves.

  • buy this

    Ta.

  • Rolleicord VB / Portra 400.

Lovey, nice (slightly muted) colours reminiscent of Portra NC — perhaps due the lens characteristics, wide aperture, post-production, or a bit of all three?

  • First time shooting my Bronica, such a beast!

  • More likely to be a sticky shutter than a hole

  • That first is real nice. Which did you go for?

  • Many thanks miro_o!

I've never did portrait before and I'm not familiar with colors. Pics are not really original, I'll try something different next time. Clothes are produced by a good friend of mine:)

  • Bikepacking photos are top top!

  • I shot with a III for while and it's standard screen was terrible. If you're going to shoot with one regularly I'd say a screen upgrade is essential.

I read the mirrors of the pre ww2 cameras deteriorate easily, and that they used ground glass viewing screens. The ‘cord I’m playing with is quite a bit later, from ~ 1960. The screen (og plastic) isn’t fresnel (so the corners are dark) but it’s alright to focus. Better than a Hasselblad. The mirror is perfect but the screen has some cleaning scratches that can get distracting if using the loupe.

I’m finding focusing with my left hand up high, and having the release down by the lens really weird. Otherwise ... I’m quite liking it so far.

  • A first roll of Ektar 100 to try a Mju ii bought at a carboot as untested.

  • Successful test! Great blues.

  • You’re from Sydney?

  • No no, I am there at the moment but I have been traveling along the east coast.

  • Thanks! An SQ-A, picked up a kit for a reasonable'ish price.

    @nefarious cheers!

  • Second this, pics 1 and 2 are nice!

  • Great success!

  • Pricey film for an untested camera! Came out great though. I miss shooting Ektar in bright sun

  • I heard it's quite pricey yeah! But I got it given by someone who didn't like it so good for me!

  • 1 and 2 are lovely! I love a bit of rock too. Definitely a successful test!

  • that second one is fucking brilliant, alex webb would be proud

  • ebay

@miro_o buy a GW690III instead of the GW690. Better lens and easier to find it like new.

  • I’m finding focusing with my left hand up high, and having the release down by the lens really weird.

You do get used to that. The shutter release is probably the quietest and lightest action I've used. Sometimes I'm unsure if I've actually taken a shot when I'm in a noisy place

  • Nikon F4s, Tri-X @ 1600
