Too nice for the pub ... although you're well equipped for a takeouts and takeaways after hours!

Sounds good! What setup did you use for that, the 7900 dt shifters?
-
• #121930
Yes, those shifters, long cage 105 derailleur and 11-36 Deore (?) cassette for aging-knee-friendly gearing with classic look.

Finished rebuilding a 1991 Scott Windriver. I used to have one back in 1991 (my first real bike), had it for a year or two, but when I started racing I sold it to fund a more appropriate competition bike. Came across one earlier this year on German Ebay and didn't hesitate. It was great to see it had all the original parts still on it. Just need to respray the seatpost. Will be a rattle can paintjob, I guess.

@WimVDD @bibimbap @Picard Cheers guys
Build plan is pretty straight forward. I have pretty much a full 7700 groupset which I had on my old Anchor, including the TT chainring. All I need is a 7700 braze on front mech. I bought a wheel set on the weekend which should be coming this week. Silver Hope Ti hubs on open pro ceramic rims.

Lovely seat stay/seat tube joint. Black rims really look good on that frame.

It’s sweet. With the smaller tyres it still rides like a fast road bike so I think my goal has been achieved. Thanks for pointing it out to me a couple months ago

Hi all,
After purchasing my touring bike, I decided to update, or revert rather, my GT Force to a "racing" bike so because I had 3 months of downtime I purchased a few things, namely new larger HB, an SRAM Chainring, and I was given a pair of Mavic R-SYS Red from 2010.
The bike is now lighter, and more dangerous... -

Stunning!

Thanks!
Now if anybody has a 100mm Salsa quill stem and a Alien USE 27.2mm carbon seatpost, I'm all hears! And why not a threaded Wound Up fork, that would be nice too

why not a threaded Wound Up fork
Because it would look worse that what you already have

Nice.
Odd that such a sporty bike has rack mounts. Especially such massive ones.
