  • May “wins.” We’re no less fucked than before this pantomime shitshow slouched out from Westminster.

  • She can now relax her focus on surviving hour to hour, and refocus on not being able to get the withdrawal agreement through parliament.

  • She's fucked. Lame duck PM.

  • I see jrm stating she should jack it in.
    He doesn't stop does he.

  • Out of all of this, the reinstatement of
Charlie Elphicke and Andrew Griffiths is the most heinous thing. I mean, really, what sort of message does this send to the country. She deserves to go for this alone.

  • We’re no less fucked than before this pantomime shitshow slouched out from Westminster.

Would disagree with this because we're not going to wake up to Boris as PM in a few days.

I suppose you're right in that we're no less fucked but at least we're not even more fucked ey.

  • I don't know why I'm noticing this tonight only, but any one else getting annoyed at every single journalist who has to put their spin on the result? You're not the news, get the hell out the way.

  • It's a Parliamentary convention that suspended members of a party are allowed back for important votes relating to leadership etc.

Not saying I agree with it especially under their 'circumstances'.

  • Well the problem is that you do run out of non-spin things to say about the result very quickly, but the news channels want them to be talking and talking and talking about it...

  • So she still wants to deliver brexit

  • All he’s missing is a cry of “It’s not fair!”, followed by foot stomp, followed by storming upstairs and slamming his door.

  • Mogg child #7 to be born nine months from today.

  • Small mercies eh?

  • Imagine how upset you’d be if someone made the same joke about your wife, just imagine.

  • mogg is too busy fucking the country and the tories to be giving his wife a good seeing to, so he probably outsources it like a good neoliberal

  • It's alright. It was me fucking Mogg's wife.

  • I wondered who was at the other end, we should do away with the masks next time.

  • Every time someone says "back stop" I have to think it sounds like a euphemism for "butt plug" ... I know, I'm a child.

  • Of those who voted for May,
140 are on the Governmental payroll,
meaning just 60 backbenchers supported her despite her pledge to stand down before the '22 GE.

  • Would those on the payroll have been sacked if May went?

  • Also john Barnes better than Chris waddle.

  • I’ve heard this payroll/not payroll distinction a couple of times now but have no idea what it refers to... anyone care to explain?

I guess this refers to people who get paid extra (above mp base salary) for doing particular jobs like organising committees etc?
