Fixed for Winter - Kent and Surrey road fixed rides

Nearly every weekend I head out to the border of Surrey/Kent on my sweet, sweet fixie. #dadlife means these are about ~50 miles long and usually no cafe stop. Thought it might be fun to ride fixed in the lanes with others.

I leave from Peckham and usually get to to West Wickham for 8:30am ish. From there it's usually Layhams, Beddlestead and then differing loops. One example: Layhams, Beddles, Pilgrims, Toys Hill, Star Hill, Ridgeline back to Layhams and West Wickham. Avg speed 15ish to 17ish mph.

I'll post what I'm up to every weekend here.

did the commute on my sweet fixie this morning. haven't ridden the thing in over a year. massive grin on my face the whole way in.

Heading out for ~50 miles into Kent tomorrow a.m. West Wickham for 8:30. Back to SE London by 12:30ish.

What sort of gi are you riding to do toys hill etc?

I'm 69 gi (but hopefully gearing down to 66 ish soon), @cagimaha I think was on 76 (?) but he can push a bigger gear than me.

I should get on this. Lemme get some handle bars and stem sorted, wipe of the dust and I’ll give you shout. #dadlife
