What: Branston have collaborated with east London baking extraordinaire Lily Vanillito create a unique take on a Christmas classic. The cheese and pickle mince pies are stuffed with fine diced roast potato and cheddar with a huge dollop of Branston’s on top, and stuffed into short crust pastry.

Where do we stand on suet? Both in the pastry and in the mincemeat?
Imho, veggie mince pies are not quite as awesome as suet based ones.
To be clear, I am not advocating the use of meat in the mincemeat. Just the fat.
