I have a pair of waterproof boots and just wear varying layers of socks underneath depending on the temperature!

Wills do a good range of vegan footwear... I'm thinking of getting the Rig boots

The all vegan branch is on Graham road in Hackney central.
I have tried the Stoke Newington branch offerings; sausage good, fish weird, was our review too.

Yea, that's what I've been doing as well, but now I just want some proper insulated boots.

Can we talk about gloves?
..vegan gloves are not difficult to find, are they?
I use those cheap mechanic's gloves for chilly weather, and these "Thinsulate" ones you often find in outdoor / army stores when it gets colder.
The other day somebody left their icebreaker wool/knit gloves and I tried those on - gotta say they're fantastic - have not found them on their site though (it's really very standard knit gloves, but made from merino). -

DMs and thick socks? To be fair, I'm still in shorts and t-shirt most of the time...

Same - but I reckon come Jan/feb when the really cold weather hits it’ll be nice to have some warm stuff to put on :)

Had these through last winter and for the wettest couple of days this month, including today, they're lovely. Warm, comfy and waterproof.

Looking good! Was not planning on spending €180 though.

They're really nice and feel like they're going to last forever.

I have a pair of Park mechanics gloves that are great for working and riding. Not suitable for deep winter or rain but ok for today's weather. About £20 a pair.

Glad to hear it!

Terrible story here:
I can't remember hearing about this place. It's closed now. How can someone working in a café not know that cashew nuts are nuts?

The all vegan branch is on Graham road in Hackney central.
I've ridden past there twice recently and both times there were queues out the door. By contrast, nobody was queueing at the non-vegan shop a couple of doors down.

So many people not understanding 'vegan' ...
Behold the field in which i grow my fucks etc. Oliver do you actually read shit like this? Royals family plans for Christmas from Gideons paper? I avoid like the plague... even if the word vegan is in it.

I have different ones from local workwear stores, the thin ones are literally €2.73 and the insulated ones are a fiver or so. They last ages.

Also, regarding boots, I think I have lost my shit now (also froze my toes off again yesterday) so ordered industrial strength insulated wellies. This, of course, is total overkill - but they're vegan, they're cheap (compared to other insulated, durable winter boots) and also they ought to keep my fucking feet warm as they're certified to -50°C.

Link? Looking for wellies also.

Looking for wellies as welly.

I went to Sutton & Sons chippy in Stoke Newington the other day.
It has a vegan menu, but I think they've got a branch which is totally vegan, possibly the one in Hackney but I thought I'd read about it on here but now I can't find it.
Anyway, I had the vegan "fish", which was banana blossom in crispy batter. Great batter, the "fish" was a bit odd, but they also had battered sausage, "fish"cake, a couple of pies and a "fish" bap. Great sides as well.
