On Sunday night, driving my family home, I found myself behind a driver who had their iPhone facetiming someone whilst stuck right in the middle of their windscreen. When we stopped at a junction i got out, tapped on her window and asked what the hell she was doing (to my families great embarrassment...) Sadly she ignored me, traffic moved on and I had to follow her for another two miles getting more and more irate. Anyway she is now reported to roadsafe for whatever good it will do
Then a few minutes later I was driving along the M4 contraflow behind a BMW with a flat back Tyre, hmm maybe it's a runflat and there's no hard shoulder thought I, although the tyre was getting more and more shredded. I was relieved when they pulled off at the next junction BUT THEN DROVE OFF AGAIN BY THIS TIME ON THE BARE RIM OF THE WHEEL... I took a different exit from the roundabout so left them to their fate
tl;Dr, people drive like dicks

I was overtaken at a pinch point a while ago by a little Skoda, the driver managed to burst / deflate both offside tyres hitting the kerb in the pinch point, completed the overtake and continued off down the road. By the time I turned right into my road I think there were sparks coming from the front wheel.
I regret not following them to see what eventually happened, but it was the end of a long ride and I was knackered.

Saw a guy driving a school bus in Lambeth on his fucking phone this morning. Couldn't believe it.
He was going in the opposite direction to me so I didn't have a chance to get any identifying information, just enough time to notice the bus had Lambeth Council branding and a school bus symbol.

Time and place might be enough for them to identify the driver. Maybe they have onboard cctv. Contact the council

Rode past a guy sat in his BMW typing on his laptop at the lights. Shook my head and made the typey typey finger sign. He ragged is passed me when they changed, not close though.
Next set of lights he's at it again. I stop, he winds down his window and explains he's only doing it at the lights. I tell him his face is lit up like a Christmas tree with the laptop on and its 3 points and a fine if a the plod spot him, which won't be too tricky considering we're in Westminster.
He thanks me for my sage advice, closes his laptop and puts it on the back seat.Mission complete?

Had yet another super close pass yesterday afternoon and put yet another report into A&S. I'm sure they will send the driver a letter, but the sheer stupidity of overtaking on a narrowing country road into a blind left hand corner I just found staggering, especially given that we had just travelled along a dead straight road with enough width for even an idiot in a Freelander to overtake... or not, apparently the narrowing / left hand bend thing all looked a lot more attractive.
Still at least I got to fuss the dog with its head out of the rear window, rather I would have been able to had I known I was about to be overtaken... that's how close the car got to me.
Us county folk don't shout, there's no point, but I gave the driver a heck of a TUT!... That'll learn em.

You can now as it won’t affect the prosecution

ok, well here goes.
pertinent bit of the first clip is at 18seconds in if you look to the bottom right. https://youtu.be/yqEmQG0UKr0
i hate this bit of powerscroft road, i don't think there's space for someone to overtake safely whilst also keeping clear of the door zone. that's why my positioning is aggressive.
i don't really know why i retreated on to the pavement, i think maybe i felt a bit safer having street objects, bollards etc between me and the car. i felt safer once i'd noticed he had got out of the car and it couldn't be aimed at me, hence why i stopped and decided to give him an earful.
if the rider in the thrasher sweater is on here, thank you for stopping and asking if i was ok. i was more brisk than i would have liked to have been. i was feeling embarrassed and ashamed by the whole thing and just wanted to get home as soon as possible.
the second clip approx a minute in shows what i perceive to be an additional close pass further down the road after they had got back in their car and caught up with me. spidey senses were tingling so i opted to just get to the side. https://youtu.be/9G5saidF1nY

No need to apologise for it mate, you have as much right to be on the road as that cunt.

A few weeks ago a bus took a downhill corner too fast and wide and very nearly took me out as I cycled in the other direction. I complained to tfl and asked for the footage from the bus operator. I've now got the footage and was going to report to the police but have read they won't take action since it's been over 14 days.
What can I do to make sure this driver doesn't repeat their mistake? Also how should I have proceeded to make sure the police did take action or would they be unlikely to care about a near miss anyway?
Also having a camera that can accurately overlay tramlines on footage it is surprising how far away a vehicle that is less than 1m from the centre of a bike actually looks.
