More importantly, what colours are you going for this time?

What's the general 'pinion about those gear boxes. Is it the future of cycling?
-
• #616
what happened to the full sus?
is it a pinion? have they got better engagement than they used to? heard some chat about that -

All of them

I doubt they're the future of cycling in general, but I've really enjoyed using a gearbox offroad, so would like another one to try.

what happened to the full sus?
Postponed, not cancelled :-)
is it a pinion? have they got better engagement than they used to?
It is. They can slow down the engagement, due to the gearbox having its own freewheel mechanism. You counter this somewhat by fitting a high engagement singlespeed rear hub.
heard some chat about that
From Luke? I spoke to Nelson about the engagement thing, and he said that he'd been using a shitty rear hub, so that really hadn't helped.
The Rohloff has slow engagement, and that's never been a problem.

How much do you want for the Thudbuster. And is it 27.2?
Also one day I'll buy your Surly Ogre. Possibly. Let me know if you ever sell it.
