the sheriff has a delicate balancing act tonight, fielding a team strong enough to keep our champions league hopes alive whilst being aware of the importance to the fans of putting the boot into Arsenal’s unbeaten run on Sunday.
As I’ve said before playing in Europe is important and once there shouldn’t be sacrificed for league position. If you can’t compete in both what’s the point in qualifying for it in the first place.
Homegrown player rule has made it harder for us in terms of player selection, but we’ve got enough bodies coming back from injury at just the right time to give Pochettino room to manoeuvre.
Will be interesting to see how we set up tonight, must win game for us, if we want to keep the knockout stage dream alive, inter can live with a draw...
