Oh yeah for sure. Basically, situations where I'd have enough time to say "get out of the
fucking way" (never mind twice) are not situations that are so urgent that I'd feel heated enough to say anything at all...Yeah I don't think anyone on here is arguing that cyclists in general should be punished more, or that the situation is even as it is. But I don't subscribe to the view that just because murderous car drivers get away with this shit, cyclists should be treated any differently.
(I do however very much object to the whole idea of new laws for 'dangerous cycling' or whatever, because that is just pure populist bullshit)

I'd look at it the other way around, if you have time to properly shout at people (rather than just let out a loud "OY" like I usually do because it's super last second and there isn't more time than that), you should really really be able to avoid hitting them too, never mind hitting them at >10mph when you were only going at 18mph.
