Why guilty? If the driver hadn't been on the phone, maybe she would have been more attentive, passed you more safely and avoided having to explain two new words to her child...
(I do try and avoid swearing, gesticulating, punching, etc. near children - especially my own! Sometimes the swear just fall out, though!)

Could hear a car approaching for a totally needless close pass (to get ahead to a 100m queue of stopped vehicles at lights). As it came past very close, < 20cm, i punched the side of the car and gave a hearty 'fuck off cunt'. Turned and there was a small kid in the passenger seat, mum on the phone. All rather surprised at this turn of events.
I felt guilty but perhaps, given above, they learnt a valuable lesson?
