On my list of 'Games I reckon I'll like but will likely take over my life'.

On a similar note, started playing Dwarf Fortress a few weeks back, barely lasted an hour. Never experienced a game with so much work required to even get up and running!

It's really good. I've never played DF but IIRC Rimworld has more modes and can be made much less punishing. Or, y'know, much more punishing.

I discovered just yesterday that there's a secret cabal of Rimworld players in my office who all play it at lunchtimes on their work machines, I had no idea. Nobody ever talks about it in the games Slack channel at work. It's like a weird secret cult that steals people's lives and everyone just hushes it up!

Major RDR2 spoiler: You should rush through the entire first 3 chapters because in chapter 4 a dog wanders into camp and dutch adopts it so you can pet it every time you are there. absolute game changer.

Honestly its more impressive because of the many small mistakes that take it away from being effectively a TAS run and actually showing how much knowledge is needed to deduce whats happened and solving

waaaaaaayyy ahead of me. Have just started chapter 4.

I’m up to epilogue part 1 on Rdr2 now. Kind of wish I’d made a separate save slot during chapter 3 as I think that was the best time to fuck around and go camping.

Such a brilliant game though - I’ve never been immersed in one this much before.

My whole lab has just downloaded OpenRA. Obviously there's one fucking RTS nerd who's dominating but fun so far

Honestly it's become more like a soap opera now, I just want to keep watching the cut scenes.

I'm playing a little too much Pokémon Quest on the Switch... I can't stop... Haven't made any in-game purchases, and not planning to, so will probably get pretty tired of it pretty quickly...

Oh you'll have to let me know what you think once you get into it. I've heard a lot of negative things.

yeah everything I've read made it sound like a shitter version of fallout 4.

Just picked up Celeste after playing the PICO8 version. Damn great platformer!

Tempted to pick up Hollow Knight in the PS4 sale. Also H:ZD but probably don't need another long game right now
