Oh and I almost forgot, witness says in her statement that the driver swerved onto the opposite lane to avoid the accident but that Amey went into the side of his van.
Driver said he didn't swerve because he didn't have time to react, first police officer attending noted parallel straight tyre marks on the road and tyre mark on the front bumper consistent with the height of the bicycle wheel.
