Have tried before but can never find them in stock.
Looks a bit heavy, but 300g isn’t the end of the world really, especially on a CdF. Wanted it more for comfort.
You don’t think they’ll go tapered head tube for 2019 finally?

Yup extending the rear fender itself from both ends still work in prog

the genesis carbon/alloy steerer forks are approx 720g with uncut steerer - that's the equilibrium one with the straight steerer before they switched to tapered.
only 32mm max tyre clearance though. -

Looks like this one has 45mm clearance. Will report back...

Rad. I'm going to be joining this club soon! (Baby blue version tho)

I think they are always special order. It was all a bit much effort so I didn’t bother.

I bought a Cannondale fork off @Brum but they come up on eBay every so often too:

The flap looks fine - just unfortunately short guard length :(

I'm looking to shift this if anyone is interested (50cm CdF) ... haven't gotten around to sorting it out for a sale thread but will soon.
Fork is new (built up for a friend who needed more steerer but no longer needs bike)

Pretty sure I have that very same fork on my Croix de Fer. I bought mine on here & had been around the block a bit so no-one knew what it was, aha. It seems pretty decent to me, it being literally half the weight of the original steel one. How have you been getting on with it?

this is true :-D

Holy mowgli! Can we get a shot of that rear flap more from behind?
Ps is your rear flap for other people's sake, or your own?
-
• #594
yeah the side shot is kind of confusing :-) it is not such a behemot irl

My current CDF setup (and yours truly), gunna get some wider flared bars soon aswell as some bigger more supple tyres.

How large tyre can 2014 Day One fit under mudguards? Anybody with experience?
-
• #598
I think I ran 38 under mine

Does anyone want to buy this off me?
I got it in 2014 on the cycle scheme and I would say it's run barely 100 miles. For various reasons including not really being my size I've barely ridden it so it's completely stock. Happy to take offers and will readjust pricing if the hive mind thinks I'm being ridiculous but thinking £400?
I haven't put up a classifieds ad yet but thought I would offer it in here first.
It's a size 54.

Finished putting together this genesis flyer for use as a pub/commute bike! Living in se19, I’ll see how I cope with the hills!

Looks a bit heavy no? Did you try the genesis distributor (Madison) for a fork? I was told you could get an aftermarket one circa 600g (with alloy steerer).
Expect they might do a run carbon fork upgrades for the 2019 models
