as requested, its not beautiful. Ive only used it for one time trial. Its not a very effective brake as its not sprung for one thing so its a case of applying but also manually de- applying the brake. Purely for legality sake in FG CTT i guess.

I had to Google that. Smart.

Smart.
Smart enough to get the Regs changed to ban it. Obree is smarter, he had two ideas good enough to get specifically banned. Sakharov, of course, was even smarter had because he had a third idea, but his are not banned because nobody has tried to win a TT using thermonuclear explosives yet.

Has this study been shared yet, 'real world conditions and speeds'..
https://www.hambini.com/blog/post/bicycle-wheel-aerodynamics-which-one-is-fastest/
Some interesting results, Farsports outperforming zipp sawtooth , FLO being called out and flouncing with lawyer threats and Hunts being meh. Also includes a shootout between 23 and 25c.

Nothing to see here then :/ Saw the 17th Oct on the publication date (probably most recent update) and didn't go back far enough.

Someone :) tested a lotus 110 and a zipp 3001 vs a p5:

You have no idea how long I’ve been wanting to see that data! Took a while to pull everything together, although we had tested the Zipp on a team rider ages ago (and we knew it must have been fast as he was pretty aero on it)

This has the makings of a series; next up Giant MCR vs. Trinity?

I think I must still be sick, the Zipp looks better. I want one. #knightriderflashback

We can get hold of both ... but I think there are other things we want to show people first. The Alf test that went in CW this week was a good one too

Done what? If you mean eliminate quite a lot of the bar and brake lever structure in exchange for limiting riding position to in the drops, what you end up with is a lo pro. If you keep the whole of the bar but just fit vestigial brake levers in a place where they are out of the wind, see A. R. Engers
