Have you got a hub that isn’t laced into a wheel?
If so, place hub over said bottle cage rivnut, insert skewer and thread into bottle boss, tighten cam on said skewer so it tightens the hub against the frame. This should pull the thread upwards while the hub pushes back against it and it should tighten the whole thing back up

Anyone got experience with loose bottle cage rivets on a CAAD7? Is there any DIY solution to fix them?
