I suspect I'll need a longer stem...

And drop spacers and use a shallower angle stem?
-
• #107
Yep. I'll see how it feels when I have it built up and go from there!
-
• #108
What stem is that? Might be open to buying if you swap it out.
-
• #109
120mm Uno alloy stem 105g.

130 Zipp sprint -12 degrees...
Not weight weenie though. -

Still think I have my heart set on Deda Superleggero... Weenie > Aero
-
• #112
I am selling one but it's actually no lighter than the Uno
-
• #113
Aesthetics > weenie > aero?
-
• #114
120mm Uno alloy stem 105g.
Wanna sell?
-
• #115
Most likely, let me get a bit more assembly done and see how it feels but I'm pretty sure I'll need to change it. I'll drop you a PM next week when I've scoped it over the weekend!

Oh wow! Seriously nice lines, that'll be an awesome build. Great job :)

I have a set of those KCNC skewers and have found them wonderful! The cam interface isn't a soft bush material like some lighweight skewers, which means that they have great clamping force. YMMV

Skewers arrived, thanks to @Señor_Bear.
Progress has been glacial thanks to a bit of unprompted guitar buying and some upcoming life stuff. Anyway, we'll get there.

^Glad they've gone to a good home!

Really rate the Zipp skewers, and the suggested 2w saving will more than offset the weight difference.
-
• #121
All weight saving is going to go out the window once the rider is onboard 😂
-
• #122
Not heavy.

Do they actually hold a bottle though?

Is the bike done yet
I have been very patient ;-( -

Alledgedly. Time will tell!
I've got some Zipp Ti skewers if you're interested. Never been opened.
