Bastard flashing strobe billion lumen angled-in-your-face front bicycle lights. Although incidences of these do thankfully seem to be getting fewer and further between. What's wrong with a steady/solid beam up front.
In your face is bad, but personally, I find (as a driver) that a steady beam alone isn't as good for being identified as a cyclist as a blinky or two. Also I find it easier to judge distances of riders using blinky lights than steady beams.
