Yes, he looked good and I was surprised he was only 20.
To be honest though, while he took his goals well, he didn't stand out head and shoulders above the rest of the team. The Mansfield back line were probably the most impressive players. But I think that says more about their overall strength as a team. I wouldn't be surprised to see them in the playoffs at the end of the year.
I went to watch Crewe this evening (c30 minutes travel time), as I'm visiting my parents and my dad vetoed Chester.
They played nice football, and have some talented young academy players, as usual, but still lost 3-0. Mansfield's average age was probably about two years higher, and they seemed about two years more experienced.
It was great to see a fourth-tier game played between two footballing sides. The game as a whole was very short on hoofs, and there was some very good passing and movement from both teams.
