The new one is much more portable as it weighs less and the battery will be much better.
Ssd will be faster.
Connectivity to high Res monitors superior.
But.
Processing speed probably a bit slower.
You will need to buy adaptors to use the new ports.
You may hate the new keyboard​ which has very little travel.
