Mini bikes were/are a big in Tokyo. I hope they become a thing over here
I'm surprised it's not, but then, people buy those cheap heavy folding bike or Brompton instead.

Imagine how short the chainstays could be with tiny wheels like that. Order yourself a custom one with 250mm chainstays and rod brakes

The new Trek 520 comes with aluminium forks... I wonder why?

I wonder why?
Cheaper and lighter probably.

See more and more of these Petit Porteur around Paris, local company and cheap too:
An one more mini-velo from Japan, functional in the sense only that it can be easily taken on the train:

I’ve been commuting on my 20” wheeled Puch folder a lot since getting it. Way more than I imagined I would. I dunno, it’s just...fun!
I have a spare bmx frame and forks that I should make something like one of those Petit Porteurs from. Either that or a tall bike.

Funny that if you look at guy riding with his kids the front little fella will get his backhead kicked in by the handlebars if his dad turns..

Be interesting to see this. How much of the BMX would you be able to reuse though?
All the tubes (including chain/seat stays) would have to be much longer. Forks maybe but you'd need to extend the steerer.

The yellow/gold one is nice because I don't really fancy riding a bike with disc in front and coaster in the back.
Their instagram says its the newer model. -

Aroogah posted about all I could post, but there's an active Instagram account out there too.
IMO 640EUR the full bike is quite cheap (not that i've looked around at alternatives). I did have a quick ride on one in that basic setup (1x3) and it's good fun.
Apart from HPA there's a few other bike shops in Paris you can get one from who could be other options if HPA won't ship.
I wonder if W1A would ever get past the opening credits if the main character had such as that ^
