Halloween (2018) is a worthy sequel.
The violence is rather extreme and graphic in some scenes and then others it's off camera and only heard (which was grim)
There are some nods and winks to the original, I liked but others may hate.
And there is comedy. Again I didn't mind it and didn't ruin the film, but it's quite a devisive and I can imagine people hating being taken out of the moment by half a cinema laughing out loud.
I am a fanboi of John Carpenter and his original is one of my favourite films, this doesn't shit all over it.
And his score is all over it, and it's wonderful.
