This is excellent, looks like a great place to ride too. Slightly reminiscent of where I used to skate.

When I read your comment I thought "how the hell is that like a skate spot?!" but then seeing the pic I see what you mean! That looks like a fun set up, I miss riding wood a bit.

You joke but this does happen. Although after years of selling things on I'm left with the Hasselblad, a few 35mm Minoltas & Canon 5D Mk1. Between them they pretty much scratch every itch.

Well for now have fun with the Minolta!
: ]I bet that Rokkor lens is amazing!

Yeah it's good, & reassuringly weighty. Both the Rokkor 58mm f1.2 & 55mm f1.2 are great and largely under the radar what with Nikon & Canon as being the go-to brands. I sold it on recently as it's wasted on me, blame the Bechers and the Dusseldorf School of Photography but I shoot almost exclusively on f22/16.

Blimey. Was that box speed HP5 ?
I've just had some dev/scan back from Palm of Tri-X pushed to 1600 that had less grain than that -

Yep. I think so anyway. It was very bright in Spain when I was there so can’t imagine I’d have pushed it...

Really enjoying my EOS 300 and pancake for walking around New York. I can walk to work in about forty minutes and go through Central Park, and you can just hold it in your hand, much like a point and shoot, but because of the hand grip, I find it much comfier to carry than a point and shoot. Not a great fan of the button interface though.

This is what a Ricoh R1 shoots like
And this is what a Ricoh R1 shoots like in (24mm) "WIDE" mode (standard is 30mm)
Yesterday was a good day !
I collect an old darkroom meant to be throw in a bin. 6 enlargers, a very big light table, a Jobo ATL for color development and a lot of accessories, all in boxes and barely used. With the equipment I already have, I could open two or three labs, now :DD Oh yeah, I forgot about the parisian rents...
