I've been offered an iMac gratis. I'm wondering if it's going to handle Adobe stuff (Photoshop, Indesign and After Effects mainly) better than my MacBook pro - i'm desperately trying to hold off on a costly upgrade (especially after being told here about upcoming hardware releases!).

Current:
MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Early 2015)
2.7 GHz Intel Core i5
8 GB 1867 MHz DDR3
Intel Iris Graphics 6100 1536 MB
Free mac:
iMac (21.5-inch, Late 2009)
3.06 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
12 GB 1067 MHz DDR3

Is the graphic card in the MBP going to outweigh the processor and ram difference?
