After a few false starts, orders made, orders cancelled (boilers needing replacing) and miss opportunities on ebay I've finally got the bike I was looking for kind of.
Its the frame I missed out on a few months ago on ebay together with the front wheel and a few other bits. Dispute everybody's advise to the contrary I'm currently running it singlespeed without any real issues and having some reasonable loads on it and riding it over a few hills.
It's likely it'll get a 1x11 group set in the near future. Not so much due to riding it up hill with a load but more because its too spinney on the flat with the 38x15 gearing, it just feels like I could be moving so much faster with some gears.
In terms of group sets it'll either be slx or xt depending on how finances are after I've paid our first nursery bill.
I'm still working on how I'm going to get my daughter on it, for now I'm having too much fun doing the weekly shop and runs to the tip with it.
