A quick detour from the vegan junkfood...
I really recommend everyone to watch the documentary “running for good” with UK vegan runner Fiona Oakes. She is a star.
You can watch it here and it’s really worth the few bucks that goes to supports her sanctuary.

Anyone got reccomendations of places to eat in Paris? Centralish, inexpensive and quick if possible.

I was about to agree with that recommendation, but I think it was probably me who recommended it...

Given this, it would probably be more helpful if they had a list of who doesn't - I use Source as it says 'vegan' on the bottle, but not many others do

Fiona Oakes
I heard her speak at World Vegan Day at Karamel a few years ago. She basically brought the house down while apologising several times that she wasn't a good public speaker (we begged to differ). Highlights I remember were being told she couldn't mention her veganism while interviewed on running by the BBC, doing some insane run in the Antarctic and not being popular with the men and/or non-vegans she beat, running her sanctuary, doing the Marathon des Sables ...

This I find strange - as a vegan ultrarunner (with a Vegan Runners vest), I've never had anyone even mention the veganism other than to ask about how we fuel ourselves though races. There are quite a few vegans at the very top level (Scott Jurek being the most obvious example). And most runners are in awe of the guys at the sharp end, male or female - I've never heard anything remotely sexist in the sport.
She might mean Dean Karnazes though - he's a cunt.

It’s also mentioned in the movie, and I think because she came into the race as an underdog with a bad knee and her humble approach people were like “WTF?”, but no hate or anything.

Tien Hiang on 14 Rue Bichat. Expect queues, but they were reasonably quick to prepare our takeaway, canal is close by.
Slightly more expensive and not quick, still worth mentioning: Jah Jah By Le Tricycle, 11 Rue des Petites Ecures. -

I'm not too sure how to take these things... from what I read, Toms sold out a few years ago to a company that tests on animals (Colgate-Palmolive) and Nivea don't actually test on animals themselves... it's a minefield! I find it hard with anti-perspirant/ deodorant as I can't use roll on

The best guide is here:

It's annoying that they don't seem to do the 'Little Book of Cruelty-Free' any more; the last edition seems to have been 2015. You can still check brands with their search function.

Having just sat down and eaten two of the Cornettos #carboloading, I feel suitably qualified to agree that they are proper good.
The regular Vegan Magnums are identical to what I remember the non Vegan ones tasting like. They are absolutely delicious! Perfect just in time for winter. -

Nivea sells in China. And by law in China you have to test on animals.

Are they vegan? Magnum owned by Unilever who abuse animals.
Anyone seen pre-Xmas pies yet? Had loads in Lidl about three weeks ago (12 in one pack), my parents the legends they are, bought me some of Asda's finest... I shall be smashing as many as I can again this year... yet to try Greggs or Iceland, so they'll be on the list... I might even make my own this year and see what her indoors think of them. Wonder if Sainsbury's will have glitter on them again this year... and that they're labelled right
